Experience the sheer beauty of Ireland’s west coast on this private day tour.
Our first planned stop is the charming seaport village of Kinvara, where you can admire the harbour and beautiful landscape, as well as visit Dunguaire Castle – dating back to 1520.
Then, taking the stunning scenic route known as the Wild Atlantic Way, we’ll arrive at the Burren – a unique limestone landscape with cliffs, caves, fossils, rock formations, and archaeological wonders such as Poulnabrone Dolmen.
From there we’ll reach the village of Doolin, a gateway to the ancient sites of the Aran Islands and the home of traditional Irish music. Here you can also dine like a local, experiencing fresh locally inspired dishes and the distinct flavours of the Wild Atlantic and Burren region.
We then move onto the Cliffs of Moher, part of the UNESCO global geopark, and one of Ireland’s most popular tourist attractions. Rising out of the Atlantic waters to a height of 213m (700ft), you’ll have the option to hike along the cliff’s edge or take a boat and cruise beneath them for a different perspective – both choices are spectacular ways to view the Cliffs of Moher.
The day concludes with a visit to Bunratty Castle & Folk Park as we make our way back to Dublin. Built in the 15th century, Bunratty Castle is the most complete and authentic castle in Ireland.
The folk park features over 30 buildings in a ‘living’ village and rural setting. Rural farmhouses, village shops, and streets are recreated and furnished as they would have appeared at the time.
Of course, there are numerous private tour variations to choose from, each of which can be tailored to your liking for a truly unique experience.
